They say that every next level of your life will demand a different version of who you are. Because growth is defined by the intentional act of reaching outside our comfort zone, acclimating until we are comfortable, and then repeating the process.
And each time we leave the familiar, we are granted a new set of armor to take with us. We learn the most valuable lessons — the ones that could never have been learned any other way except through the lens of hardship, ruination, adversity, and defeat, followed by resurrection.
So if you want to have more in life, become more. If you want change, become the change. And if you need things to become better, understand that you have to become better. Because if you find a way to improve yourself, everything around you will improve.
But life only changes for the better when we become more committed to our dreams than to our comfort zone.
