We may not break any ribbons, and we may not win any trophies, but if we can learn to hang on when times are the toughest, if we can just stay steady when life is at its very roughest, we can make it.
If you fall, keep the faith. If you get sick, keep the faith. If you get injured, keep the faith. If you are at your wits' end and feel you just cannot go on, you have to keep the faith.
Because those who have traveled through darkness and found their way back into the light are the same souls who become the light for others still inside their own. They are not only the warriors this world needs, but the grace it deserves.
And the light shines, even in darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it.
